There are a lot of ideas floating around about how to increase page rank with Google. The truth is outside of Google know one knows for sure what causes one page to be ranked higher than another or not at all. Google has given little information about the way they’ve determined page ranking. However, they said long ago that they only release page rank updates about four times per year because they want people to worry about creating good content and not worry about their page rank. There is no doubt the page rank algorithm has changed over the years but this gives us some insight as to what Google wants from web pages. Good Content. There is no doubt that Google tries to determine if the content on a particular page is important and useful to people and how much so. If you learn nothing else, learn that you must creating good content is the single most important factor.  Another thing that seems to help and a lot of people over look is maintaining a niche website. Sites that carry out a particular theme or niche make more sense to people and to search engines than sites that have a little bit of everything.

I’m sure there are plenty of cases where Google is ranking content that is not very important highly and there are plenty of people that try to get unimportant and useless content ranked highly but all in all we know that Google is forever refining their algorithm and weeding out those pages. With that said, there will probably never be a perfect algorithm but it’s probably getting harder and harder to fake it but for all the work you’re going to put in to fake a page rank. Why not just put the effort into getting real thing?

The bottom line is if you make content for people and not search engines, you’re going to do better in the long run and gain repeat visitors and increased search engine exposure and yes, I do believe the right software can very much be a part of that equation.

Why fake it? Some people would like to get a high ranking to boost their search engine ranking or the ranking of sites which they link to. You can make a lot of money signing up for Text-Link-Ads, if your domain is at least a PR4 or has PR and good Alexa Rank.
